How to Convert URL text to hyperlinks

Gmail allows you to convert any URL or email address text into hyperlinks in easy steps. For that, you need to open Gmail and compose the email that you want to send. Simply enter the URL as plain text. Next, select the URL and click on the Link button in the toolbar.

This will immediately convert your URL text into a Hyperlink. If anyone clicks on this link, they will be redirected to the website.

How to Add Links to Text

If you don’t prefer adding links to URL texts because you think it looks unprofessional, you can add hyperlinks to your own text. To add links to the text in Gmail, you need to open Gmail on your web browser and compose an email. Now select the text you want to link and click on the Link button as shown below.

Now a window will pop up, asking you to Edit Link. Here you need to select the Web address and enter your link in the box. You can also modify the text which is on display. Once done, click on the Ok button.
