As its name itself already says it all. Yes, of course, it is a clone of Raspberry Pi Zero, Raspberry’s simplest computational plaque. However, it has a number of interesting features that catch the eye. Lichee Pi Zero is just larger than a micro SD card, only consumes 0.1 A, runs on Linux 4.10, and costs just only $6. Here you can see it in action:-

Despite its small size and low price, the hardware of Lichee Pi Zero is very interesting. It has an ARM Allwinner V3S processor Cortex-A7 CPU with a clock speed of 1.0GHz, 512 Mbit of DDR2 RAM, and a micro SD card reader as well. It may seem little, but it only costs $6 (In Indian currency it will cost you about Rs.400) and is capable of running games like Doom. As you can see in the video, it is easy to connect modules to use screens, sensors, readers, etc. Yes, everything in a very handmade way. It does not look like a plate intended for commercialization, at least in its current state. With Lichee Pi Zero, a Lithium battery, an LCD screen, and a plastic housing you can make your own micro PC in just 5 minutes and that also just for less than $50. At the moment Lichee Pi Zero is a project that seeks funding on IndieGogo. However, it already raised more than half of the $5,000 and it still has a month left, so it’s all going to get it. But, if you want then you can get a unit without WiFi for just $6, and WiFi for just $8. So, what do you think about this new small computer?
